Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. J.K. Rowling.
Arthur A. Levine Books/Scholastic Press. 1998. First edition, second printing.
A wonderful copy of the the first Harry Potter book. The book is very good+, with sharp corners, bumped spine ends, a bit of rubbing to lettering on spine, and just a hint of spine cocking. No writing, markings or remainder. The jacket is also very good+ and is complete and vibrant, with only minor rubbing/scuffing/chipping.
All first edition/first printing points are present, with the exception of a full number line to “1”. This number line ends in “2”, indicating a second printing. First edition points are as follows: $16.95 price, J.K. Rowling on the spine of jacket and book, Guardian (not Publisher’s Weekly) blurb on the back cover, raised lettering for “Harry Potter” on the front cover, two barcodes on the back cover (with 51695), purple boards with diamond pattern, absence of “1” on both book and jacket spines.
