In Our Time. Ernest Hemingway.
Horace Liveright. 1928. Third edition. First published by Boni and Liveright in 1925, this is the third edition of Hemingway's first book published in the U.S. (There was a name change to the publishing house, from Boni and Liveright to Horace Liveright.) Hanneman A3a.
Book is good+-very good, with dark blue boards and geometric design stamped in gold. No writing or markings. Slight cocking of spine, deckled fore edge. Jacket is complete, with $2.00 price and third edition stated on spine and front flap. Some fading and creasing, especially on the front fore edge (see pictures), a few smudges, but overall a good example of a very scarce jacket.
Any dust jacket for this title is extremely scarce. A recent viaLibri search found a total of six dust jackets, all of which were for the first edition (and starting at $12,000).
